The voice of Tosh Ryan travels back in time to the optimistic post second world war era, to the beginnings of the revolution that was to put Manchester at the centre of the cultural landscape of Britain.
Mancunian, musician, cultural provocateur and social documenter, Tosh has been involved in the Manchester cultural scene for well over half of the last century. A mischievous character who could be said to be a living historical figure, not so much by what he has done, but by what he has lived, seen and heard – and of course this forms the material for the stories that he loves to tell…
