It’s Not As Bad As It Looks is a piece of work based on Greg Foster’s experience of working as a door-to-door salesman in the North West in the summer of 2004. Framed around the ‘cult’ like sales industry he was part of, it attempts to express the cultural and social observations made whilst doing this job.

It’s Not As Bad As It Looks will be a performance that comes out of the ever-growing grey area that lies between theatre and live art and it is with this style that the event will both involve and invade the senses.

It’s Not As Bad As It Looks is a solo work involving multimedia and audience participation.

“Greg Foster delivers the most energetic and engaging performance in It’s Not As Bad As It Looks. An acutely observed, cringingly real study of the life of a door-to-door salesman.”
