I am Liz Aggiss. That is liz….aggiss….all one word lower case….. lizaggiss.

I am an artist, an artiste, a performer, choreographer, film-maker, a hybrid, an interdisciplinary merchant, an art-apprentice, a women driven and on the edge of a mission. I make expressionistic, uncompromising, challenging, live work characterized by a trademark grotesque stylized performance vocabulary in dance / dance theatre, dance for camera / screen dance, performance art / live art, screen dance installation / performance installation. I have dodged categorization and been classified as unclassifiable. I have been described as the Vivienne Westwood of the dance film world, fearless and satirical, funny, powerfully disturbing, dominant and yet vulnerable.
