Kate Gilbert
Trained as an actor at Bretton Hall. Has worked professionally as an actor for past seven years. Recently written and produced a play for 24:7 Theatre Festival called Watching Stars. Watching Stars will be performed again in September. Also written produced and performed two pieces of work for SFX at Royal Exchange. Currently lead singer for new Manchester funk band " Pineapple ". Working on a new play called " The Park " about mother and daughter relationships. Been performing her poetry songs for the past four years and is working on extending these into a one woman show to perform at cabaret events.
Could you sum up your feelings about greenroom and/or its impact on your work?:
Green Room is a brilliant platform to improve and experiment as an artist. It also provides help and support as an artist.
