Point Blank
Point Blank is a professional touring company and registered charity, founded in 1999 by co-artistic directors Steve Jackson and Liz Tomlin. The company has previously operated under the name The Open Performance Centre for its not-for-profit community drama activities, but since Sept 2007 we have consolidated under the name of our acclaimed professional theatre work.
Between 2000 and 2004 the company produced a trilogy of work entitled ‘The Making Trouble Trilogy’ which included ‘Dead Causes’, ‘Nothing to Declare’ & ‘Operation Wonderland’. Point Blank's fourth showRoses & Morphine was initially developed in collaboration with the Bush Theatre under the working title Once Upon Asylum.
The company most recently completed a work-in-progress showing of 'An Evening with Psychosis' in February 2007. We now have two shows in development, planned to tour in 2009: these are 'An Evening With Psychosis' and 'Landfill'. Please see 'Current Activity' for more information.
