Plane Performance

Plane Performance is an experimental theatre company formed in 1992, dedicated to the construction of contemporary theatre through the deconstruction of existing performance texts. The company has been directed since the start by Neil Mackenzie, also now the Artistic Director of the Axis Arts Centre in Crewe.

Plane Performance is currently engaged in the construction of a new theatre piece 'Traviata', based on Verdi's opera 'La Traviata'. The piece will be performed by Anna Fenemore, Craig Pullen and Niki Woods, with Kevin Egan as Orchestrator and Neil Mackenzie as Director.
