hauser is the name for performance work of Swen Steinhauser. Swen makes and researches contemporary theatre and performance practices.
To date his work has been focused on touring studio productions with up to six performers and large cast performances with students in Higher Education
Other strands of work include interactive and site-specific performance events, as well as work with non-trained performers.
hauser makes performances where fragmented narratives, rythmical structures, movement, text and taskbased actions construct temporary worlds in which ideas, laughter and landscapes float and circulate.
