Formed in 1985, BAA is the UK’s largest network of Black artists and, even within the ever-changing policies and priorities of the arts infrastructure, BAA is determined to move forward, making tomorrow’s history today.
artBlacklive is a three-day residential training for Live Artists.Let the Talking Consider brings a group of 30 in the presence of two prolific arts representing Black arts and culture.
BAA’s library is probably the only one in the North West that is dedicated to Black arts and culture, and its ever-expanding video library archives a history of local artists’ productions and television documentaries.
